Leandro Nerefuh (M’boygy 1975) lives in São Paulo, Brazil. He is an artist who deals with formal translations of historical material, with a special interest in Latin America. Recent exhibitions include ‘Radical Software’, W139, Amsterdam; ‘33 Panorama da Arte Brasileira’, MAM - SP; ‘Agitprop Abysal’, Zacheta National Gallery, Warsaw; 'Contra Escambos’, Palácio das Artes, Belo Horizonte; ‘Mobile Radio BSP’, 30th São Paulo Biennial; Banana Archive’, Festival Sesc VideoBrasil; ‘Disruptive Memories’, Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid; and ‘Talk Show’, ICA, London. Future exhibitions include the 12th Havana Biennial; and Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Brussels. Nerefuh is a collaborator of Capacete School in Rio de Janeiro, and also the founder of PPUB, an unofficial political party active in Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
