Mônica Hoff is a brazilian artist, educator and researcher. She has a double degree in Visual Arts and Art Pedagogy from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul –UFRGS, and is currently pursuing there her master’s degree in Art History, Theory and Criticism.
In 2013, she was the ground curator and head of Cloud Formations of the 9th Bienal do Mercosul | Porto Alegre. Between 2006-2014, she was the coordinator of the Mercosul Biennial Education Program. Currently, she is developing two projects in the south of Brazil: Surf School-etc, in Florianópolis, and Housework, in Porto Alegre.
Co-edited the publications Pedagogia no campo expandido [Pedagogy in the expanded field], with Pablo Helguera in 2011; and Manual para curiosos [Manual for Curious] and the antology A Nuvem [The Cloud] with Sofía Hernandez Chong Cuy in 2013.
