Jesús Torrivilla (b. 1989) is a researcher specializing in contemporary Latin American art, journal, and critical studies. He earned a Master of Arts from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and is co-author of El bravo tuky, a book about the electronic music scene in the neighborhoods of Caracas. Torrivilla has over ten years of media experience as an editor, chronicler, and essayist. He has collaborated for publications such as Terremoto (Mexico), Prodavinci, Verbigracia and Papel Literario (Venezuela). Torrivilla is currently a professor at the University of Communication and is studying for a doctorate in Art History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
