Roberto Conduru

Professor of Art History and Theory at the Rio de Janeiro State University since 1995, Roberto Conduru is the former president (2007-2010) and current vice president of the Brazilian Committee of Art History. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Southern Methodist University, Dallas (2014); and a Guest Scholar at the Getty Foundation, Los Angeles (2012). He has published several books among which are Carl Einstein e a arte da África (EdUERJ, 2015), Frida Baranek (Barléu, 2014), Pérolas Negras - Primeiros Fios (EdUERJ, 2013), Coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, 1920-1950 (Barléu, 2011), Jorge Guinle (Barléu 2009), Arte Afro-Brasileira (C/Arte, 2007), Willys Castro (Cosac Naify, 2005).
