Gyula Kosice and the Madí Manifesto
September 15, 2014This historic recording of Gyula Kosice and Diyi Laañ reading the 1946 Madí Manifesto in Buenos Aires was found on an old acetate 78rpm record in Kosice’s archives. The urgency and conviction of the twenty-something artists can be heard in their recitation of the many ways in which Madí will transform all forms of art and contribute to a social revolution. This recording, along with many other archival assets, can be found in the enhanced e-book version of Gyula Kosice in conversation with/en conversación con Gabriel Pérez-Barreiro.
