The last day to apply for the 2021 Y.ES Curators Grant is April 20, 2021! The grant aims to support and cultivate curatorial practice by Salvadorans and is open to curators of Salvadoran affiliation based anywhere in the world. Active curators, aspiring curators, artist-curators and curatorial collectives are eligible to apply. The grant awards $1,000 USD which can be used for research, travel, exhibition and project opportunities happening between June 1, 2021–May 31, 2022.

Established in 2015 by the Robert S. Wennett and Mario Cader-Frech Foundation, Y.ES Contemporary, a “nomadic non-collecting program”, focuses on supporting and increasing the visibility of contemporary artists from El Salvador through curatorial art trips, grants and workshops, exhibitions, talks, and studio visit programming locally and internationally. Fundación Cisneros/Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros President, Adriana Cisneros de Griffin is a member of the Y.ES Contemporary Council, together promoting the joint mission of advocacy for the art of Latin America.
