Show and Tell PostponedNovember 1, 2016 to November 4, 2016
The 2016 Seminario Fundación Cisneros Show and Tell, originally scheduled for November 4, 2016, will be postponed until further notice. While we find a new date for the seminar, and with the hope that you will still join us for this event, we invite you to explore the articles commissioned specifically for Show and Tell: Juan Acha's Creative Engagement: "Paper and More Paper" (1969) by Miguel López; A Brief Relation of the Production of Fernando Gamboa by Mauricio Marcin; Everything is Personal. From the Body: Allegories of the Feminine. Museo de Bellas Artes, 1998 by Costanza De Rogatis; and That's How Things Are: Installation and Object Art in Latin America, 1997 by Magalí Arriola.
In the coming days, we will publish two more texts: Phallocentric Specters by Aixa Sánchez and Imagen de Caracas: Counter-didactics to the Integration of the Arts by Gabriela Rangel. The workshop "Telling the Image," led by Erk del Bufalo at ONG in Caracas, will still take place this week.
Thank you again for your interest in Show and Tell, and we will update this website as soon as we find a new date for the seminar.
