On Saturday, October 22nd, the CPPC is collaborating with The Museum of Modern Art and Wikimedia NYC to host the second annual WikiArte Wikipedia edit-a-thon for Latin American and Latino art and culture. This year Wikimedia Mexico and the Museo Soumaya in Mexico City have joined the event.

The event will provide an introduction to Wikipedia, gathering together a group of people to spend a fun and educational day socializing and adding to Wikipedia's store of knowledge about Latin American and Latino art as we learn how to edit, create, and translate articles. No experience is needed as a training session and resources will be provided.

Please bring your laptop and power cord if possible (a limited number of computers will be available on site) and any suggested topics you may have for articles that need to be augmented, created, or translated to or from Spanish, English, or Portuguese.

Admission to the edit-a-thon is free, but please do RSVP.
