This series, spanning eleven volumes, addresses the critical need for artists' voices in the discourse on modern and contemporary art. It documents in-depth conversations between leading Latin American artists like Tania Bruguera, Waltercio Caldas, Luis Camnitzer, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Jaime Davidovich, Ferreira Gullar, Gyula Kosice, Jac Leirner, Tomás Maldonado, Liliana Porter, and Jesús Soto and leading art historians, critics, and curators.

By providing this series at no cost, we aim to enhance access to essential scholarly work and reaffirm our commitment to educators, scholars, artists, and art enthusiasts globally, advancing our mission to support scholarly research and foster a more profound understanding of art from Latin America.

We invite you to explore the Conversaciones/Conversations series titles and delve into the engaging dialogues that define and document the modern and contemporary art movements of the region. This effort is part of our continuous project to make our publications, including catalogs, monographs, and born-digital material, publicly accessible.
