Gego: Obra Completa (1955-1990)

With five scholarly essays, Gego: Obra Completa (1955-1990) illuminates the work of one of the most innovative and influential Latin American artists of the twentieth century. Although championed early in her career by Alfred Barr, Founding Director of The Museum of Modern Art, Gego (1912-1994)—born Gertrude Goldschmidt in Hamburg, Germany—has remained little known among the general public outside of Latin America. The designer of this publication was awarded the 2005 Gutenberg Prize.
